Meet Regent – The Wobbly Prince of Cuddles and Conversation 👑🐾 Every cat is special in their own way, but Regent? He’s in a royal league of his own. This charming, slightly off-balance gentleman has a unique little wobble to his walk, a heart full of love, and a purr motor that could rival a Harley. His unsteady movements are the lasting result of an old ear infection—not something contagious or painful, just a little neurological souvenir that left him with a delightfully tipsy way of navigating the world. He’s not quite sure how to walk in a straight line—but when your heart’s as big as Regent’s, who needs perfect coordination anyway? Regent is a sweet, soft, vocal guy who wears his emotions right on his paw. He loves to chat—about his day, his dinner, the birds outside, or how you didn’t quite hit the perfect scratch spot yet (try two inches to the left—ahhhh, there it is). Once he knows you, he becomes a full-time cuddler, head-butter, and snugglebug. Lap? Yes, please. Chin rubs? Mandatory. Back scritches? Royal decree. He can sometimes hiss when he sees you coming and doesn't immediately recognize you—it’s not aggression, just a little “who goes there?” moment from a cat who's still learning that not every surprise is a bad one. Once he realizes it’s you—his beloved human, bearer of treats and scritches—he immediately softens and goes back to his true form: a puddle of affection with a tail. And yes, Regent gives love bites. Or rather, he tries to. They're more like love misfires, really. Because of his signature wobble, his aim is a bit… off. So when he goes in for a nibble of affection, you’re more likely to get a polite whisker graze or a slightly confused lick. We like to say: "His love bites are sweet and harmless—because he couldn’t land one if he tried." He may move like he’s wearing invisible roller skates, but it doesn’t stop him from doing all the things cats love: climbing into laps, rubbing his face all over your hands, chirping at windows, or awkwardly chasing a toy with the enthusiasm of a drunken ballet dancer.
