My story

Lucky is a shy, sweet-natured dog who made the long journey to Wisconsin in search of a forever home. He may be a little nervous in new situations, but with patience and love, he starts to open up-and when he does, it's truly special.He's looking for a calm, understanding home where he can feel safe and take things at his own pace. Once he feels comfortable, Lucky enjoys quiet moments by your side and the gentle company of kind humans or mellow dogs.If you have a soft spot for the shy ones and believe every dog deserves a patience and caring, Lucky might just be the perfect match.Lucky will also be part of our "Foster Drop-In" during adoption hours on Friday 6/6/25 from 1pm-4pm and Saturday 6/7/25 from 11am-2pm. He will be present with his Foster parent to answer any questions and to meet you!Lucky is also eligible for our Foster to Adopt program. To participate in the Foster to Adopt program, you will need to complete the Foster to Adopt application which requires you to watch two short videos (less than 9 minutes total for the two) and answer 8 questions.
