My story

Meet Maisy &#194&#151 Your New Best Friend and Cuddle Buddy! Maisy is a stunning 4-year-old Pit Bull mix with a heart as big as her smile and a love for people that's even bigger! She came to us on 5/7/25 after her previous family realized she's happiest as the one and only pet in the house. Maisy is house trained, leash trained, and absolutely thrives on human company. Whether she's snuggled up on the couch or out enjoying a stroll, she's happiest right by your side. While she prefers to be the queen of her castle and doesn't do well with other dogs, what she lacks in doggy social skills she makes up for tenfold with loyalty, affection, and endless love for her humans. If you want a devoted, loving companion who's ready to be your one-and-only, Maisy could be the perfect match! Her adoption fee is $125. She's spayed, microchipped, up to date on rabies and boosters, and heartworm negative. Ready for a best friend who'll fill your days with love and joy? Come meet Maisy and fall in love!  All animals, unless otherwise noted in their description, are at 1825 Airport Rd. in Rockwall, TX. IMPORTANT NOTICE: All shelter animals are required by Texas state law to be spayed/neutered. RAC completes this procedure at the age of 12 weeks. If you are adopting a pet under the age of 12 weeks or an animal that has not yet been spayed or neutered, you will be required to return the pet to our facility on the agreed upon date set at the time of adoption.
