My story

"They call me Willow, but that's not my name. No one knows me here. People are nice but my heart is broken. My best friend took me here and then had to let me go. I don't know why I'm here. Everyone says I'm in the best place for me. But I keep trying to tell them I don't belong here. I belong on my sofa. The food is good. The people take me for walks are nice and give me treats but I try to tell them to let me out but they put me in my room after pure walks and then the have to leave me. I don't like being alone. I'm just sad. I want to be happy again. Maybe someone will stay with me soon. I just want to be safe and quiet. I roll my belly up to show you I'm scared and unsure.Don't come at me fast Please.I roll my belly up to say don't hurt me please. I get nice belly scratches. It feels so nice. They say my fur is rough because of fleas, but they say it will grow back and I'll be beautiful again. I don't really care about that, I just want love and my home with my people. Can you be my people? I'll be the bestest girl. I'll be no trouble. I'll be quiet and be a good listener.I'll be your best friend. We can find peace together. Please give me a chance! "Willow will thrive in a quiet home with patient friends who will go slow with her. She will benefit from the two week shut down and understanding she has been through alot. She is opening up more everyday and showing us her sweet personality. 🟢She is not showing any reactivity to any dogs or cats but she shys away from other dogs on her walks. She came in underweight at 49 pounds. She is shy and gentle but very cooperative and ready to learn to love someone new.We want her to find the best home with a family that will treat her like a princess. Please come and help us show her what true love means. Comments from Willow's Foster mom:⭐️"Willow is low energy but does enjoy a leisurely paced walk.⭐️She is already house trained.⭐️She will lay in her bed all night long and well into the morning.⭐️She loves people, even little people.⭐️She wants to be with you, but thankfully not on you. ⭐️She probably should have been named Shadow.⭐️She gets along with other dogs. ⭐️If you are looking for a playmate for your current dog....keep looking. She prefers just vibing.Willow is in a foster home please call the office at the Humane Society of Wicomico County To meet this special girl!" Primary Color: Black Secondary Color: White Weight: 49.2 Age: 9yrs 0mths 2wks
