Sally in Texarkana TX

My story

Sally is a female white with red/tan Chihuahua mix. Estimated DOB mid-February and she weighs 11 lbs (as of 5/9/25). She and her 2 littermates and mom Daisy were owner surrendered to spare them from living outside in an unfenced yard. In their foster home, Sally and her siblings have proven to be very social with people and other dogs. They find all kinds of things to play with. Sally and her brother and sister enjoy flopping on a blanket or pillow to shake or chew on a toy. They also enjoy a ray of sunshine. All are working on potty training and making progress. Love their crate and willingly go there for naps and bedtime. Sally thinks she’s the boss but she won’t know everything until you teach her! Mom Daisy (pictured) is a good dog with an even temperament, well behaved and loving. Her puppies have the potential to be the same. She is a chihuahua mixed with something a tad larger and weighs in close to 20 lbs. The dad is reported to be a small tan dog perhaps a little smaller than mom. The adoption fee for each puppy is $150. Each puppy will be adopted having had 2 sets of vaccinations, and two rounds of deworming. Adopter will complete the appropriate vaccinations and start the puppy on heartworm prevention. Puppies will be adopted with a spay/neuter contract, signed by the adopter requiring the adopter to have the puppy spayed/neutered before six months of age at the adopter’s expense. At a minimum, a phone interview will be conducted and a vet reference checked before the applicant may meet their preferred pet. We adopt primarily in the 4 states of the ArkLaTexOma. Applicants willing to travel to Texarkana will also be considered with additional requirements to qualify as approved.
