My story

Meet Tenne, a sweet 4-year-old spayed female mixed breed with a beautiful brown and black coat. She weighs 9kg and stands 39cm tall at the shoulder. Tenne spent the first three years of her life tethered outside, but you’d never guess it from her bright, loving personality. Tenne is incredibly people-friendly. She’s the type of dog who will trot right up to strangers, lean in for pets, and roll over for belly rubs—even with people she’s just met! She’s a neighborhood favorite, especially among local gentlemen who can’t resist giving her some affection as they pass by. Tenne is also great with kids under 13, happy to be touched anywhere, and totally fine with being scooped up with an arm under her belly. She’s just as social with other dogs, approaching new canine friends with a wag and a playful invite. She gets along best with dogs her size or smaller and happily matches energy with bouncy young pups. While she’s generally easygoing, she isn’t afraid to express her discomfort if another dog is rude or aggressive. First meetings with unfamiliar dogs should be monitored just in case. Tenne hasn’t lived with cats, but she’s shown no interest in the local street cats and can be tested further if needed. Her energy level is moderate—she enjoys outdoor adventures but is happy to settle down and relax afterward. She has solid leash manners, though she may pull a bit, and she’s responsive and easy to guide. Tenne doesn’t guard food and rarely barks—though she’s recently started barking to invite friends to play when they ignore her! She’s a bit nervous about car rides and prefers to be carried in, but she rides calmly in a crate. She’s mostly house-trained and prefers to do her business outdoors.
