My story

Meet Serafina! Just like her name suggests, this little angel is pure love and light wrapped in a soft, silky coat. With her big, soulful eyes, Serafina will gaze into yours with a love so deep it feels like she’s looking right into your heart. She’s the ultimate cuddle bug, always seeking out affection, whether it’s giving kisses, receiving kisses, or snuggling up on the couch to watch TV.Serafina’s playful spirit shines as brightly as her name. She adores toys—every single one of them! Tug of war is her favorite game, and she’ll happily chase anything you throw her way. Despite her playful side, she’s calm, gentle, and incredibly loyal, earning the nickname “puppy shadow” because she loves to follow her person around the house.She’s already about 95% house trained with the use of a dog door and gets along great with dogs of all sizes. She’s also friendly and outgoing with adults and children alike. While she can be protective of her food and may growl while eating, she’s respectful and never tries to take food from other dogs. A simple “no” is usually enough to redirect her, as she’s eager to please and a quick learner.Serafina isn’t overly hyper, and as long as she has her toys, she’s perfectly content and not destructive. She’s truly a joy to be around—a bright, happy companion who just wants to be by your side. If you’re looking for a sweet, loving pup who will shower you with affection and brighten your days, Serafina is ready to be your forever friend. She was born in October 2024 and is being fostered in Texas.All of our dogs are located in a foster home in Texas, Colorado, or Pennsylvania. Our dogs are transported to a predetermined location agreed upon by the rescue. The adoption contract and fee are finalized prior to transport. As a Mutts N Such direct adoption, the adoption interview/meet and greet occurs on video call (Skype, FB Messenger call, Facetime, etc).Our out of state adoption fee is $350 plus transport (varies by location). This fee includes all current vaccinations, deworming, a registered microchip, fecal analysis, spay/neuter for pets 6 months & older, and a heartworm test if over 6 months old. All dogs will be current on flea/heartworm prevention. A health exam will be completed and a certificate issued by a veterinarian within 10 days.
