My story

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Say hi to our incredibly handsome Prince, a 4+ year old German Shorthaired Pointer mix who is ready to find his forever home. Prince sports that classic GSP athletic build, making him an ideal match for an active individual or family. Dreaming of a hiking buddy, running partner, or outdoor adventure companion? Prince is your guy! But don't let his sporty looks fool you—he's just as happy (and perhaps even happier!) being your personal couch potato, ready to binge-watch your favorite shows by your side. This charming fellow loves his toys (especially a giggle ball!), enjoys a good chew on a bone, and can even entertain himself by expertly unloading the doggy toybox.  His foster parents affectionately call him "the collector" because he loves to gather various items (mostly toys) and create a treasure trove on his dog bed. He doesn't chew them up, just gathers them! Prince currently lives with four other medium to large dogs and thrives with canine companions who match his energy, which can range from zero to a hundred! He loves a good vocal, rough-and-tumble play style, so he'll need siblings who appreciate his spirited approach. Small dogs aren't his preference, and we're not sure about cats yet. Prince is also a master of affection—he loves to cuddle up on your lap or snuggle beside you. Yet, he's also perfectly content to relax for hours in his bed or open crate, which he sees as his personal sanctuary. He's also a fantastic copilot, making him the ideal travel companion for any road trip. When it comes to training, Prince is a star! He's incredibly treat-motivated (he loves all treats, from traditional kibble to carrots, lettuce, and even brussel sprouts!), which made him a quick learner in obedience class. Continuing training with his new family will be a fantastic way to deepen your bond.
