My story

This handsome Chocolate Lab mix is Ryker! He arrived at the shelter as a lost boy on 4/30, and sadly, no one has come to reclaim him. The volunteers describe Ryker as a typical Lab: easygoing, playful, eager-to-please, and very friendly! He LOVES playing with toys and he'll sit nicely for treats! Labs need lots of physical and mental stimulation so please ensure you have the time and energy to welcome Ryker into your family! Ryker is approximately 4 years old and weighs 66 lbs. He is UTD on vaccines and did test negative for heartworms. He will be neutered and microchipped upon adoption. Ryker is waiting patiently in run 84; his ID # is 9707. Note - all the listings on Friends of Shelter Animals for Cobb are done by volunteers. If this cat or dog came in as a lost animal, we do not know how they might be with children, other pets, or if house trained. You can bring your pet to the shelter for a meet & greet with your potential new best friend. When inquiring about a cat or dog, please use THE ID NUMBER. This pet is available for adoption from Cobb County Animal Services, 1060 Al Bishop Dr. Marietta, GA 30008, (770) 499-4136. Shelter hours: Tues. - Sun. 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., closed Mondays & Holidays. The adoption includes shots, altering, a heartworm or combo test and a microchip.
