My story

Hi! We’re Kumiko & Granmamare — two tuxedo sisters who prove that opposites really do attract. I’m Kumiko — the “polite” one… at first. I might hang back for a minute, but once I’ve decided you’re my person, I’ll chase your hands across the desk for head scratches, melt into your lap, and fall dramatically into your palm just so you have no choice but to keep petting me. I’ve got a tiny squeaky meow and an even squeakier chirp, and I love wand toys, scratcher sticks, and wrestling with my sister. My favorite place to nap is curled up with Granmamare on a soft blanket, sunny ledge, or pillow fort — but I’m also starting to become a solo lap cat. And I’m Granmamare — the bold one. I fear nothing. Bugs, toys, unsuspecting ankles — all fair game for the hunt. When my favorite people walk in, my “coffee pot” purr machine starts brewing instantly, and if you don’t pet me fast enough, I’ll headbutt you until you do. I love to chase my sister, play tag, and zoom around like the floor’s on fire. When it’s time to rest, I claim the best spots — warm blankets by the window, the highest perch, or the softest part of our pillow fort. We’re bonded for life — we sleep together, play together, and even coordinate our purrs sometimes. We’re both litter box pros and ready to bring double the love, double the laughter, and double the tuxedo charm to our forever home.
