With his slightly cross-eyed gaze, big ol’ puppy dog eyes, and the softest fur you’ve ever sunk your fingers into, Chevy is equal parts lovable goofball and oversized baby.Chevy showed up as a stray, scared and unsure. But day by day, he’s come out of his shell. And now? He’s discovering how fun life can be. He’s learned how to play with toys (he’s partial to the squeaky kind), is walking like a pro on his leash, and has become a full-blown velcro dog. If you’ve got a lap or a hand for petting, Chevy will be there, probably trying to melt into your side like butter on toast.He’s housebroken, treat-motivated, and curious about everything, which makes training not only possible but actually pretty fun. He’ll sniff every corner, follow every sound, and tilt his head at you like he’s trying to understand your deepest thoughts (he’s probably just wondering if snacks are involved). Chevy hasn’t had the chance to meet other dogs or cats here yet, so we’ll do a meet and greet with your pets at the shelter to make sure it’s a good fit. But he’s ready to meet you, and if you’re lucky, fall in love.Ready for a little comedy, a lot of cuddles, and a loyal shadow who thinks you’re the most interesting person alive? Chevy’s your guy.
