My story

This handsome puppy is Katniss. Katniss and her siblings came to us from our friends at PETA. We do not know much about his past but we do know this girl is ready to find her forever home. Katniss enjoys playing with her siblings so she would do just fine in a home with a canine companion....but more than anything Katniss loves attention from her human friends. She really enjoys being the center of attention so her adopters should be ready to spend a lot of time with her and be ok with an extra shadow. Her favorite thing to do is stare up at you with her sweet little puppy eyes until you give in and pick her up. Even though she is a friendly kid, slow introductions to new animals or people is always a must when bringing home a new puppy. Katniss and her siblings take hunger games to a whole new level and really chow down when they are given food. To avoid any stomach upset we highly suggest that slow feeder bowls are used for all meals. You can ask once of the kennel technicians to show you the kind that we use here! Katniss can also be a little grumbly about his food so make sure to give him space from other animals in the home while she eats. The good news is that Katniss is highly food motivated which will help during training! Speaking of training, this cutie will need help with all the basics when she gets home. She will need help with potty training, leash walking, and manners etc. Luckily your adoption includes four free weeks of puppy training with GoodPup! May the odds be ever in your favor.
