My story

Meet Petey! Petey is a handsome gray tabby with a big heart and an even bigger purr! He’s usually the first to say hello, especially if there are pets, treats, or playtime involved. While he can be a little nervous in new situations, Petey blossoms with a gentle touch and a bit of patience—and once he’s comfortable, his playful, loving side shines. He absolutely loves other cats—especially his best friend Ozzy—and would be happiest going home with her. If not, he’ll need a feline companion in his new home to help him feel secure and bring out his confidence. 🐱 Little health note: Petey has tested negative for FeLV (Feline Leukemia Virus), but he lived with a cat who has a regressive FeLV infection. This means the virus is suppressed and not actively spreading—but there is a very small chance it could still be contagious. The risk is low, especially in adult cats, but it’s something to be aware of when adopting. We’re happy to answer any questions and help you feel confident about welcoming Petey into your home! 🐾
