Sitka: Timid Heart, Quiet Hope - Searching for a love like no other Female • Spayed • DOB 11/10/2018Currently in Boarding – Naperville, IL Sitka is gentle and reserved, with big, curious eyes that speak louder than words. She never lived in fear—but she never knew love either. Neglected her whole life, Sitka is now fearful of people, unsure how to accept affection she’s never had. She’s spayed, dewormed, fully vetted, and current on all vaccinations. Right now she’s in boarding in Naperville, but Sitka needs a calm, patient home where she can decompress, feel safe, and learn to trust at her own pace. Aussies are naturally bright, sensitive, and deeply connected once they bond. Sitka has all that potential—she just needs time and a person of her own. To help her develop independence and confidence, Sitka needs to be separated from her dog family, as their close pack dynamic causes them to emotionally rely on each other and avoid people.
