My story

Sarah is a sweet, calm, and independent lady who knows exactly what she wants in life: a cozy window perch, a quiet routine, and a human who understands the art of good petting! She’s spent time with a 6-year-old and does well with kids as long as they respect her space and keep their cuddles grounded. After raising her kittens (a full-time job, thank you very much), Sarah is ready to retire from motherhood and enjoy some well-deserved one-on-one time with her favorite people. She loves attention and will head butt and meow nonstop for pets. While she’s not into being held or curled up on your lap, she’s recently started lying next to her foster, enjoying the comfort of being close on her own terms. Sarah is incredibly people-friendly—she purrs the moment you walk into the room and isn’t shy around strangers. She’s low maintenance and low energy: toys don’t do much for her, but lounging in the sunshine or watching the world go by from a cat tree? Absolute bliss. She may be okay with a calm cat companion after a slow introduction, but truth be told, she’d really prefer to be your one and only. After all, she’s earned some peace and quiet! Sarah is also a very vocal gal she’s not afraid to speak her mind and will happily chat with you throughout the day. If you’re looking for a mellow, affectionate, and adorably opinionated kitty, Sarah might just be your perfect match.
