Honey

My story

Hi My name is Honey- I am about 2 years old Pit Mix. I am as sweet as my name sounds. My favorite thing to do is go on walks. I recently had TPLO surgery on my leg and that put a pause on my adventures. I have a special vet who is helping heal me and it has been 3 months from the surgery and the dr. said I have healed nicely. I will have my 2nd and final surgery June 6th- after the healing process I will be ready for my forever family! Now back to me- I enjoy lying in the backyard on sunny days, I sunbathe whenever possible. ON those rainy cloudy days we spend time inside and I love to cuddle with my foster family as well my foster fur sibling Ronan. I like to play a game called “How fast can I get the squeaker out of the toy”- yes I kill the toys sometimes. My foster mom likes to give me Kongs or antlers as I don’t destroy those. I get along great with my foster sibling, but I do need to tell you I didn’t have a life when I was a puppy, so now I get excited and even get these things called the zoomies its all in fun. The other dogs don’t know that I just want to play when I get really excited, so I need to take introductions slow and have a couple to feel comfortable with another dog. I love to take car rides, I get right in and find my spot and relax until we get to our destination. I am completely vetted including spay, housebroken, crate trained-but after a little time I can be left alone outside the crate which I love. I like to sit on the couch and watch out the window.
