My story

Hi there, its me Rosie~ I am a senior girl around 8 years old Pit Mix. I find myself in my senior years looking for my forever home, I was rescued this past year by A Tail of 4 Paws where I was sadly neglected and not taken care of. Since then they have taken me through all my vetting including some intolerance testing to see what was making me itch so much! We stay away from salmon, sweet potatoes, and green beans. We have found a turkey based kibble that has improved my skin. If you saw me a year ago I could barely walk and has so much loss of hair. I can get around on my own, with a little wobble going on- that just adds to my charm. I am on some medications to keep me healthy, I am told I have a thyroid issue and was having some girly leaking. Since on the meds I am doing great and my weight has balanced out and I pee outside! To keep the allergies away I am on special food and see my veterinarian for an allergy shot. On occasions I have had some fecal accidents, but I try very hard to make it outside before that happens, Sometimes while I am sleeping, I don’t know that I have to poop and might have an accident. And today, I am this fabulous DIVA who is enjoying life! My favorite time is to play with toys and now that the weather is getting warmer, I really enjoy spending time outside on the deck. I am very food motivated My recall is great and stay close to my foster family. I am looking for a forever home that doesn’t care that I wobble a little, one that will love and pet me, and I would prefer someone that is home more. I am told there is this thing work from home or retired, I am not sure what that means but it sounds like that type of family would beg perfect for me. Having a routine has made such a difference in healing me. Every person that meets me says I am the sweetest girl ever- so I pray my forever family sees my information and comes looking for me. If you are interested in meeting me please reach out to A Tail of 4 Paws Animal Rescue - rescue@atailof4paws.org

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Rosie, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
