My story

Hello, my name is: Willie NelsonDOB: 05/05/2024Sex/Breed: Neutered male Plott HoundWeight: 50 lbsRescued From: Found straySoaking wet and all alone, Willie Nelson needed a hero. He was discovered standing in the middle of the road during a heavy rainstorm, out in the middle of nowhere. Our guess is some heartless human left him for dead out in the wilderness… he’s lucky to be alive. He was happy to be rescued and jumped right into the truck when invited. Despite being abandoned, Willie has been trusting and friendly. He is a sweet, playful pup who would make a fantastic addition to an active family. He’s a total love bug who lives for belly rubs and playtime! Willie has a lot of energy, so he’d thrive in a home with another playful dog to help keep him entertained. He is even living harmoniously with cats. Willie loves kids but is still perfecting his manners, so older kids would be best. He is still very much a puppy. Training is going well, and he is very food motivated! He seems to have an old injury to his left eye, but it doesn’t seem to affect his vision. We don’t know what happened, but there is a scar at runs from his eye down his cheek. We don’t know anything about Willie’s past… but we have promised him a future full of love and kindness.
