PRE-ADOPTION OPPORTUNITY: Skittles will be ready June 2025 (he is waiting to be neutered).  Introducing Skittles! Peppy, social, goofy, and sweet, like his name suggests, Skittles will saturate your world with joy, driving the grey away! - More pictures (and videos!) of Skittles: https://bit.ly/KyFosterKittens SKITTLES'S STORY: Skittles and his five siblings are survivors of the flooding we experienced earlier in 2025. A family was evacuating their home and heard them crying, desperate and alone. They looked for mama cat but never found her. The kind people scooped them up and brought them to the Humane Society of Oldham County. These bundles of joy act like they know they were rescued, because from day one they were grateful and happy to be in foster care! SKITTLE'S PERSONALITY: Of the six bundles of fluff that got rescued, Skittles was the first one out of the carrier to get booty scratches and snuggles. He is ambitious with his cuddles and is not shy about telling you what he wants (mostly pets). His joy in life is chasing feather toys around until he's tired; then, he will hop up on the blanket with you and sleep like he's recouping from a danceathon.  Skittles is quick to make friends with new people and is a true extrovert of a kitten.  He has grown up with cats and MUST have a Forever Family with a kitty companion to call his buddy. Out of respect for the Resident Kitty (kitties), we strongly recommend a cat companion that is less than 7-8 years old to best acclimate to the kitten pep. He will be ready in June 2025. He is up to date on vaccinations, and microchipped. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. Submit your application today!
