Animal ID: 949662. How this pet arrived: Dante was brought in by Humane Law Enforcement on April 30, 2025. Why Dante is the one for you:Dante is a young dog still learning that the world isn't such a scary place. New faces and unfamiliar environments can make him a little nervous - he may bark to ask for some space - but with a bit of patience (and a pocket full of treats), he begins to warm up and show his personality. Once he's comfortable, Dante's playful personality starts to shine! He can get a bit jumpy when he's excited, but he already knows "sit" and is eager to keep learning. He absolutely loves walks and takes his sniffing duties very seriously - sniffing all the good spots is his favorite part of the day. He's looking for a calm, understanding home without young children (no kids under 8, please). If you already have a dog at home, a meet-and-greet is required to ensure they're a good match. If you've got a quiet home and a kind heart, Dante just might be the perfect companion to grow with you. Bring the whole family in to meet him and see if you're the one to help him shine!
