Jasper IV (New Digs)

My story

Meet Jasper, a 9-year-old Beagle - Terrier mix weighing 78lbs. Jasper is a very curious dog who enjoys lounging around with a tennis ball and sunbathing. Jasper loves soft plush toys with big ears that he can chew! He is a brown and white spotted short haired doggie; Jasper is unique because he has a brown heart on his left side of body. Jasper is a happy dog who thrives on being one on one with someone, he does best be the only dog in the home. Jasper was originally a homeless puppy and then went to a shelter at 9 months old. Once rescued he stayed with his family for 9 years. Jasper has never been injured or had any surgeries other than neutered, Jasper is microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Jasper likes to lounge around but does enjoy a walk every now and then. He loves to eat, he knows when it is time to eat and can get anxious if meal time is not consistent. Jasper enjoys chasing a tennis ball or chewing on fluffy toys with big ears. Jasper has only ever been around dogs, and a bit skittish when it comes to children. Overall he is calm and quiet and has never been aggressive with others. Jasper would be best paired with a persons who works from home or is home often and that has a yard. Jasper likes to be scratched on his back and once warmed up to you he will rub against you for a back scratch. Jasper is not crate trained; he likes to roam the house. He is potty trained but can have an accident if he feel scared or anxious. Jasper knows how to sit, stay, leave it, lay down and give paw. Jasper is very food motivated. Owners are looking to rehome Jasper due to recent job relocation and a new baby has made their lives difficult to navigate the current situation. Jasper would do best with someone who can give full attention and meet all his needs. Jasper is loveable, approachable, and very calm.
