My story

Hi, I`m Cali! I`m a sweet pup who can be a little nervous in new situations, but once I feel safe, my playful and cuddly side starts to shine. I have a nice balance of energy—sometimes I`m ready to play and explore, and other times I’m perfectly content just relaxing.I was pretty shy and scared at first, especially around loud noises, sudden movements, or if someone has something in their hands. But everything changed when another dog came into my life! Having a dog friend really helped me come out of my shell. Now, I love going on walks around the neighborhood and being part of the action—as long as I have a buddy by my side.When I meet new people, I might be a little timid at first, but with time (and maybe a stuffy toy), I warm up. Speaking of toys—I`m a big fan of collagen chews and soft, plushy toys (I like to pull the stuffing out… it’s just too fun!).One of my favorite things is cuddling. If you sit on the floor or relax on the couch, I’ll snuggle right up next to you. I love being petted and will often come seek out affection.I’d do best with a family that has another dog to help me feel secure and confident. A backyard to play in or regular walks would be amazing, too. If you`re patient and loving, and maybe have a cozy spot for me to curl up in, I think we’d be a perfect match.P.S.
