My story

Meet Mae! Mae is a sweet 4-year-old toy poodle who recently came from a puppy mill. Even though she’s only been in foster care a short time, she’s already doing so well. She’s a little nervous with new people, but she’s incredibly gentle and has the kindest little heart. Once she feels safe, she just wants to be near you. She absolutely loves other dogs and really lights up when she’s around them. A calm dog friend in her new home would be a big comfort for her. Mae is also great with kids and is slowly learning that being picked up isn’t so scary after all. She hasn’t had a single accident in the house and is quiet, sweet, and easy to have around. She’s looking for a peaceful home where she can feel safe, take things at her own pace, and know she’s loved. She may not be a lap dog right away, but with a little time and patience, Mae will be your loyal companion for life. She is fostered in Eddington.
