My story

Javier (a.k.a. Javi) is a 10-month-old, 50-pound bundle of love—and a total “shadow” dog! He wants to be wherever you are, even waiting by the shower with his head on the edge of the tub. This sweet boy is incredibly attentive, loves being held, and will happily curl up in your lap any chance he gets.While Javi enjoys short play sessions outside with other dogs, he’s an indoor dog at heart. He gets hot and tired quickly, so he much prefers lounging in the AC and chewing on his favorite toys. Javi loves everyone—people and dogs alike—and takes cues from older dogs beautifully. He already knows how to sit, walks well on leash, and is doing great with potty training. He’s mildly food motivated, very smart, and eager to please.If you’re looking for an affectionate, loyal pup who wants nothing more than to be by your side, Javi is your guy!Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas.
