My story

Meet Stormy! Stormy is a one and a half year old Lab mix, who is a sweet little love bug! She’s a bit shy at first and prefers gentle handling—if you approach too quickly, she might scurry away. But once she opens up, she forms strong bonds with her favorite humans and absolutely adores cuddles and belly rubs!Stormy knows some basic commands like `no` and `sit,` and she`s great about going potty outside. She listens well and seems to enjoy the company of older kids aged 10 and up. While she hasn`t had any cat friends yet, she`s definitely dog-friendly! Stormy has been spayed and is up to date with her all her vaccines.In her crate, Stormy does really well, although she might need a moment to settle down. When she gets excited, she might jump around a bit, but with a little correction, she quickly responds. Treats are her motivation, and she enjoys playing fetch—though she prefers short play sessions. Stormy loves going for walks, but can be a little startled by loud noises or people approaching too fast.Above all, Stormy just wants to be close to her humans. She loves snuggling up in laps, taking cozy naps, and soaking up all the belly rubs she can get!To set up a meet and greet or inquire about a dog, please first fill out an application at https://savinghoperescue.org/adopt.
