Minnow is now 11 weeks old and weighs 4.02 lbs. She’s making great progress with potty training and catching on quickly. Her foster family says she’s a total snuggle bug who loves playing with the other dogs in the home! At this time, we’re still unsure whether Minnow will be a candidate for cleft palate surgery. She has a cleft lip and a cleft palate. She drinks out of a special water bottle and can only eat hard puppy kibble. The roof of her mouth does have to be cleaned out every night to remove any food that may have gotten stuck. She hates this, but it is necessary. We are accepting pre-adoption applications. Due to her small size, we will not place her in a home with children under 16 or dogs over 25 lbs. An adopter with French Bulldog experience is preferred. To submit an application, please visit: www.rescuerowinc.org *The rescue will be spaying her when she is older. *Please check your junk email folder if you do not receive a response from a Rescue Row member within 48 hours. *You must live within an hour of the DFW Metroplex because we do trial adoptions and require a homecheck *Our adoption fees are as follows (paid by cash or a check made out to Rescue Row): Dogs 12 weeks-6 months old: $300 adoption fee Dogs 7 months and older: $275 adoption fee Rescue Row is a 501(c)3 (non-profit) all volunteer dog rescue organization serving the DFW Metroplex. We are dedicated to rescuing dogs in shelters, dogs in abusive or neglectful situations, and dogs surrendered by their owners because of difficult circumstances. We place dogs in loving, responsible, committed permanent homes, following a comprehensive adoption process, which includes taking considerable care in finding good matches and educating prospective adopters about the responsibilities and costs of bringing a dog into their homes and lives. Dogs in our care are spayed or neutered, microchipped, receive all appropriate veterinary care and treatment, and placed in nurturing foster homes while they await placement in their permanent homes. We assist dogs in distress without regard to age, breed or ease of placement. Dogs in the greatest need take priority. Finally, we strive to work with shelters and other rescue and humane organizations to develop a network of supporters and volunteers in order to create a better world for homeless dogs. ##2372695##
