My story

*I live in a foster home. Fill out an adoption inquiry form to find out more about me and how to meet me!*Looking for a loyal companion who’s as loving as he is handsome? That’s me—I’m Ford. Not the car, but just as reliable (and way more cuddly). Whether it’s a lazy day on the couch or an outdoor adventure, I’m just happy to be along for the ride. I’m the kind of shadow that follows you everywhere—sometimes so closely I might accidentally rear end you… but only because I love you that much! I’m so excited about life that my manners can occasionally take a backseat, so I’d do best in a home with older kids (if any). But I’m super smart and fueled by treats, so training with me should be a breeze! I can be a little nervous in new situations—this big world can feel overwhelming sometimes. I’d love to have a confident canine buddy to cruise through life with me and help me feel safe. We would just have to do a test drive (AKA a dog-to-dog meet) to make sure we’re a good match!
