My story

Meet Ritz! This 7-year-old German Shepherd/Husky mix is the total package—adventurous, affectionate, and full of personality! Ritz is an outdoorsy gal who would thrive with an active family that loves hiking, camping, or exploring new trails. With her working-dog background (she was likely a farm dog), she’s happiest when she has a purpose and room to roam. When the adventure winds down, Ritz is all snuggles. She definitely thinks she’s a lap dog and will happily plop down right on top of you for some serious cuddle time. One important note: Ritz cannot be around cats—she’s got a strong prey drive and will chase. She’d do best as the only pet or possibly with a large, confident dog companion. Strong, sweet, and always down for a snuggle—Ritz is ready to find her forever adventure buddy!
