My story

LUXURIATES IN THE COMPANY OF HER HOOMAN  DOB 5/5/24 Hey there, everyone! I’m PeekABoo, a sweet, sassy, and smart blue-point Siamese mix gal with giant sapphire-blue eyes. Like most Siamese, I’m affectionate, vocal, and active. My perfect day is to curl up in Foster Meowmy’s lap for a heart-to-heart chat that’s followed by a sniff of catnip and rousing chase of the wand toy. Foster Meowmy christened me PeekABoo because I like to pop up when she least expects it. When she tries to shut me out by closing her office door, I’m curious and clever enough to figure out that my little paw under the door can often pry it open. Voila! So much for solving the problem of the closed door that I loathe! Do you get the idea that I adore being where Foster Meowmy is as well as being the center of her attention? She can expect raucous vocal complaints until I get my way! Yes, I’m not at all shy about getting the point across about my preferences. For example, I’ll head-butt her when I want her to give my chin or ears a good massage. Or I may gently love-bite her hand if I feel that she’s not giving me the attention I crave. What can I say? I’ve got thoughts, opinions, and lots of love to give her. I’m sad to say that my life wasn’t always a bowl of cherries. My owners left me behind when they moved out of their apartment, and this abandonment left me confused and hungry despite my outward sassy dignity to the contrary. Fortunately, my behavior didn’t fool the Good Samaritan who rescued me! She reassured me that I’d never again have to experience being separated from my beloved hooman (except for brief periods, of course!). Ah! That spark of hope was so comforting! So now I’m ready to share my peek-a-boo antics with my forever family. True confessions: I’m no mistress of stealth because I love to chat too much to stay quiet before I pop up out of nowhere.
