My story

Grover is a 7-year-old, 16.5-pound scruffy terrier mix, possibly with some Cairn Terrier in the mix. This little guy was surrendered to us when his owner could no longer care for him.He is very sweet and quiet. He’ll hop into his foster’s lap and lean in for loving and just sit there soaking it in.If you’re looking for a gentle soul to nurture and love, Grover would be forever grateful for a second chance at happiness. Could you be the one to help him shine?IMPORTANT: Please read all below, especially if you live outside of Texas, which is where our rescue is located.Apply to adopt on our website: https://www.charmingpetrescue.org/adoptAll of our animals are spayed/neutered, microchipped, and up to date on shots.ALL of our animals are located in Boerne, TX, but transport after adoption is available to other states for a $300 fee for dogs or an additional fee varying by location for cats. If you are seeing our pets posted in your state, that's because you live near a transport stop, they are not currently at that location. Petfinder lists our pets as 'Out of Town' pets at other locations, and Adopt-a-Pet lists our location as a Transport stop. Those are currently the only options they offer to make this clear, so we put this description we've put at the bottom to explain it.
