My story

Meet Buck, a sweet 4-year-old male cat who’s looking for a patient and understanding forever home! Buck can be a bit shy at first, so he’ll need time to adjust to new surroundings. He has boundaries but, once he feels comfortable, he’s a lovebug who adores gentle pets and attention. If you’re looking for a companion who will warm up to you in his own time, Buck might just be the purrfect fit!If you're interested in getting to know Buck, we invite you to come meet him at our MaryAnn Wright Animal Adoption and Education Center. Our team will be happy to assist you and answer any questions you may have. Come see if Buck is the one who will steal your heart!For current adoption fees, please see our website, www.metrodetroitanimals.org. Adoption fee includes: age-appropriate vaccinations, spay or neuter, microchip, ID tag, fecal / worming, basic physical and behavior assessment. Dogs (6 months and older) receive an occult heartworm test. For an additional $20, cats (12 weeks and older) can be tested for FIV (feline immunodeficiency virus) / FLV (feline leukemia).
