My name is Corey and I am from Missouri. Corey is an adorable, energetic pup with a big heart and an even bigger personality. He hasn’t met a person he doesn’t love—tiny humans included! Kids are his absolute favorite, and he’s always ready to roll over for belly rubs and give gentle kisses. Corey thrives around people and would be a perfect addition to an active home with lots of human interaction. He’s dog-friendly and generally very submissive. While a previous foster noted some resource guarding, it has improved significantly with consistency and supervision. Smart as a whip, Corey picks up new commands quickly and has excellent off-leash recall. He loves going to the beach, exploring parks, and soaking up attention wherever he goes. He does have a bit of separation anxiety and will bark when left alone, so he stays in a kennel when his humans are out. We’re working on helping him feel more comfortable with solo time. Corey would thrive in a home full of love, activity, and people—especially if there are kids to cuddle with and adventures to be had.
