Avery!

My story

Avery is a gorgeous German Shepherd mix, estimated DOB 9/1/2024 and she currently weighs 50 lbs (at 8mos old) and might get about 60-65lbs full grown. Avery is an affectionate, sweet girl who loves attention from her person. She loves to run and play in the water and does well with the dogs she currently lives with. She is very mellow for a puppy. She walks great on a leash and knows basic commands. She has been on several outings to dog friendly stores, on walks and to parks. She does well in the car. She is house and crate trained and is usually in the crate at night. During the day, she has an outside area to stay in when left for a few hours. She would do great with a dog buddy or a person that is not gone long hours. She can be a little timid at first when meeting new people, but warms up quickly and is getting better with every encounter. Avery would do best in a home with a yard, so no apartments. She will need regular exercise through daily walks or playing in the yard. Respectful children over the age of 10 would be best. She needs a family who has the time and patience to continue her training and keep building her confidence. A family that will include her in their activities. This is a fantastic puppy, who with the right person or family, will make a wonderful loyal companion.
