My story

Hi, I’m Ray – an adventurous, energetic boy who thrives in the outdoors! I originally came to the shelter after the California wildfires, but Wisconsin is where I truly belong – I absolutely love the snow and I’m always up for a splash in a kiddy pool as well! I gotta say, I am STOKED for Wisconsin summers! I’ve got the energy of many working breeds mixed into one, which means I need an active home that can keep up with my boundless enthusiasm. I was adopted and returned because my energy was a little much sometimes. I just get so excited about life, but I’m learning how to channel that energy better every day! I’ve been to doggy daycare and did great – I get along with other dogs and have a blast playing and making new friends. I think I would love a dog friend in my future home! I would do best with kids who can handle my high energy and excitement, as I can get a little overzealous at times. With the right family that can give me the exercise and attention I need, I’ll be the loyal, fun-loving companion you’ve been looking for.
