My story

Charlotte is a petite, one-year-old gray / brown tabby with soft, silky fur and a heart full of affection. She came to Abbey Cat Adoptions from the North Bay area after her previous owner sadly passed away. Charlotte lived with several adult cats and kittens in her former home and has continued to show her gentle and adaptable nature in her foster family. Charlotte is a true people-cat. She’s very outgoing with her foster family and loves to meow sweetly for pets and attention. She isn’t shy about letting you know she wants to be near you—and if you meet her on her level, she’ll reward you with face rubs, gentle headbutts, and snuggles around your arms. While she’s not quite a lap cat yet, Charlotte enjoys closeness. Charlotte gets along well with the other cats in her foster home-happily sharing meals, water bowls, and nighttime sleeping quarters peacefully with her fellow fosters. When it comes to playtime, Charlotte’s favorites are toys she can chase and carry—especially small mice or bell toys. She’ll occasionally go after a wand, but she’s happiest batting and pouncing on things she can claim as her own. She’s also a fan of heights and will often seek out windowsills or perch up high, where she can look out or chat softly to her foster family with her sweet little meows. When she needs quiet time, she sometimes retreats to her comfort room alone, under the bed for a peaceful nap. Charlotte is a tidy and well-behaved girl—she uses her litter box consistently, drinks plenty of water, enjoys both her wet and dry food, and prefers rope scratching posts, which she uses regularly before hopping up to a cozy spot above it all. Charlotte would do well in a home that appreciates a social and gentle cat. She gets along well with other respectful non aggressive cats and she really needs a play buddy. She will blossom in a home where she can get lots of love and attention from her humans. Charlotte needs to be adopted with a cat in the program or have another cat at home DOB: May 31, 2024 Special Notes: MUST have a kitty companion

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Charlotte, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
