My story

What my friends at ACC say about me:My history is a mystery and my friends here do not know much about me yet!It is unknown if I have ever lived with other animals or children.I have medical needs that staff will address with you when you meet me.I am FIV+ and am enjoying a healthy, full life!Cheek and chin scratches make me so happy!I am a cat that is in need of a lap! I can't wait to be your new lap cat.I am finding the shelter a little overwhelming, but when it's just you and me and some peace and quiet you'll see what a love bug I am.I can be slow to adjust to new environments. I prefer to take things at my own pace.I'm sensitive and shy. I'll need extra help from you.I would do best in a home without very tiny humans, although I could be open to older human children once I meet them.A volunteer writes: Found with three other cats who were left in a carrier at the park, Yeti's been so sweetly appreciative of all the little creature comforts we have to offer here at the shelter. Stretching out on top of his den with one paw covering his eyes and the other reaching for the future, Yeti happily woke up from his nap for some treats. Sitting proudly by way of introduction, he leaned his head into my hand and then began chomping the wrapper to ensure each piece made it to his little cat belly. His optimism seems like the quiet type. He doesn't hop and dance around at the front, but rather greets everything with a sincere delight that melts our hearts.
