Andy

My story

Andy is a one-year-old, 34-pound shepherd mix that was picked up by a shelter with an injured front leg. With no other options, and a face that we couldn’t say no to, we rescued him. We were able to get him into Northlake Veterinary Surgery, the best orthopedic surgeons anywhere, and they were able to basically rebuild his leg and save it. From there, Andy went to a wonderful foster home where he could be kept quiet. He is with another great foster now, crate trained and housetrained, and has been great with all of her dogs, big and small, and he is even good with her cat! Andy has been a champ through all vetting, including the laser treatments (goggles). He is a super sweet and wonderfully adaptable dog. His smaller size makes him adoptable as well.
