Meet Wooyou, a cheerful and charming 5-month-old Jindo mix with a fluffy white coat and a bright personality to match. Born on December 10, 2024, he currently weighs 9.8 kg and stands 40 cm tall at the shoulder. Wooyou was born in a backyard and was briefly adopted into a home, only to be returned due to a family member’s allergy. After going back to the backyard and spending his days tied outside, his spark began to fade—until he was rescued and brought to a foster home, where he’s now thriving with a joyful spirit and healthy energy. Wooyou is a little shy at first, but offer him a treat and he’ll be your friend in no time, happily accepting affection. He’s incredibly gentle and welcoming with kids under 13, and he’s totally fine being picked up with an arm under his belly. Once he feels comfortable, he’ll even roll over to show you his belly. He’s a social butterfly, eager to greet and play with both familiar and unfamiliar dogs. In fact, he finds comfort in the presence of other dogs and feels more at ease when he has a canine companion nearby. His reaction to cats hasn’t been observed yet. He’s an active pup who needs plenty of outdoor time to settle down calmly indoors. While he tends to pull on the leash a bit, he generally follows his human well, especially in quiet areas—though busy streets with lots of cars can make him nervous. He doesn’t guard his food from people or other dogs and shows no signs of aggression. While separation anxiety isn’t a big issue at the moment, it could develop, so a supportive home environment will be important. He whines a bit in the crate at first but settles down quickly, though he does get carsick. Wooyou is doing well with both indoor pad training and outdoor potty breaks. He’s expressive and full of personality—you’ll know exactly how he feels, whether he’s excited or grumpy! Having grown up alongside people and his siblings, he’s sweet-natured and very socially well-adjusted. He’s also quite the chatterbox, always ready to “talk” with little grumbles, whines, and playful barks. Like any pup his age, he’s teething and tends to nibble on hands, but he redirects easily with toys. Playful, goofy, and full of love, Wooyou is sure to bring plenty of laughter and joy to his forever home. He’s a happy, healthy pup just waiting for his person!
