Meet ❤️LUCAS❤️. This *barely* senior Doxie mix was found in a kennel with two others... Abandoned at a bus stop. Unable to help themselves, or fend off anyone with bad intentions. Thankfully he, Lucky Little Man, and Nacho were found by a good Samaritan and brought to the shelter, who then asked for help. Lucas is definitely the most tenderhearted of the bunch. He is so scared and unsure of what's going on, but when you pick him up, he wraps his paws around your hand and tucks his head under your chin to feel safe. He's soooooo sweet, but he just needs someone to let him know that street life is over for him. It's the GOOD life from here on out!! We would love for Lucas to find a home with a human who has a heart as tender as his. He desperately wants to feel protected and loved...
