My story

Meet Brewster, a 24-pound, 3½-year-old Terrier mix with a gentle soul and the sweetest eyes. Brewster came to CAMO as a stray and is still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. He’s a shy, calm boy who needs time to feel safe. While it may take a little while for him to come out of his shell, once he does, you’ll discover a truly sweet and tender companion. Brewster is good with other dogs, though he’s not interested in playing. He prefers to simply be around them, enjoying their presence and taking in all the smells. He appreciates calm canine company that respects his space. He’s also good with cats, making him a great fit for a multi-pet household. He’s currently working on his leash skills, but he gets nervous and tends to freeze when the leash comes out, so a patient adopter willing to help him build confidence at his own pace is a must. He’s also making great progress with his potty training, though he’s still practicing. Brewster gets nervous when entering or exiting through doors, so he’ll need some gentle guidance and reassurance to help him feel more comfortable with those transitions. With a little time, kindness, and encouragement, Brewster has all the potential to become a loyal, loving member of the family. 🐾💙🐶 Adoption fee is: $375 ALL adoptions require a completed application, vet check, home check and final contract. The application to adopt can be found at www.camorescue.com. Adoption fees are variable. Up to date vaccines, microchip, spay/neuter are included in the fee. Once your application has been approved, we will put you in touch with a CAMO representative to set up a meet and greet. We select the best applicant for each dog, based on the dog's needs. For the safety of our small breed dogs and based on our past experiences, we will not place our dogs in homes with large breed dogs. EIN # 46-5486022
