My story

Doc is an adorable retriever mix that came in through Animal Control and was most likely dumped. He is a very happy boy that is full of fun energy. This cutie is very friendly and enjoys being out and about exploring. He is medium energy and would make a great adventure buddy! Although Doc enjoys being around humans, he has not had positive interactions with male and female dogs. This buddy needs to be the only fur child in his future fam’s life. Doc will require to go to a rescue due to his high prey drive. He is not cat or dog friendly. He can climb a 6 foot chain linked fence. He will require a foster that is willing to leash walk him or they need to have a 6 ft wooden privacy fence. He must be the only pet in the household. Doc is heartworm negative.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Doc, please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
