My story

A staff member that's been working with me says this: "Pet has decompressed some since 5/13. She will still stay in her hidey crate, but she has allowed me to change her blankets and also allowed me to pet her. I still move slowly around her due to her still having wide eyes, but she doesn’t tremble anymore. She did attempt to sit in my lap after petting on her for a few minutes." A staff member that's been working with me says this: "Nimes is starting to come out of her shell a little bit more. I decided to go sit with her after AM cleaning. She seems to enjoy wet cat food. She will come out of her hidey crate to take treats. She also takes treats gently and didn't mind taking it from my hand. The loud barking in the kennels do seem to startle her, so she goes back into the hidey crate."
