My story

Hi, I’m Venus! I’m new here at the Atlanta Humane Society, and my friends and caretakers are still learning more about me. So far they`ve learned that I can be a very shy little lady. I will sometimes get a gust of confidence and openly greet new people, but on most days I tend to need a few minutes to get used to a stranger. Once I`m comfortable, you better be ready for a long session of petting. I love to have my head or chin scratched, I`ll even flop over onto my back to show my belly and let you know when I want affection. Just remember the rule! The tummy is for show, NOT for pets.
