What my friends at ACC say about me:Sonny tolerates attention and petting but appears fearful or stressed in the shelter. He may be a little more independent, and may need time to warm up to his new home. We recommend that this cat go to a home with experienced cat parents.Sonny is a very sweet but fearful cat who's clearly overwhelmed in the shelter environment. He stayed tucked in his den and tried to make himself as small as possible, even turning away as if to flee. While he didn't show interest in treats, he gently accepted petting with both the scratcher tool and the assessor's hand. Sonny has a gentle nature and will need time, patience, and a calm home to feel safe and begin to trust.
