My story

Meet Oso (aka Bear)! This 8-week-old bundle of fluff is equal parts adventurer and foodie. Oso is the first to explore a new toy, wrestle with his siblings, or follow his nose to the treat jar. His playful spirit makes him the life of the puppy party, but he’s just as happy snuggling up after a big day of fun. Oso loves playing with both his littermates and his foster dog family, so he’d thrive in a home with other pups or an active family ready to keep up with his curiosity and energy. Bonus: he’s very food motivated, which makes training a breeze! Please note that we do not recommend puppies to families with children under 5 because they have very sharp puppy teeth and nails. We are a RESCUE GROUP, not a shelter, and all of our animals are in foster homes. To start the adoption process, email us at adoptions@earstexas.org requesting an application. Submitting an application does not commit you in any way, but helps us make the best match between people and our available dogs. Your current or past dogs must be inside dogs who have been spayed/neutered and are on heartworm prevention. All of the dogs in our program are inside dogs and are completely vetted including all vaccinations, spayed/neutered, free of internal parasites, microchipped, heartworm negative and on prevention before adoption. Our adoption process includes an application, check of vet records or personal references, interview, neutral site meet & greet with the dog and your family, and a home visit.
