My story

[DogName] is a COURTESY LISTING available for private adoption -- for more information, please contact the owner listed below. DO NOT apply through the GSRA website as this dog and owner are not affiliated with GSRA. Django loves people and is very high energy. He is looking for a new home due to no longer getting along with our other older dog (which is one-sided as Django absolutely adores her). Additionally, he needs someone who can provide a consistent schedule for him which includes a lot of daily exercise. Django knows most basic commands such as: Sit, stay, leave it, back up, come, heel, spin, and drop it. He is also content to stay in a kennel during the day while you're away at work. That being said, he is still extremely high energy at the age of 4, and shows no signs of slowing down. He cannot be left loose unsupervised or you might find your personal items missing having become victim to his seemingly bottomless stomach. Django has not had a lot of exposure to other dogs, and has shown some reactivity (Barking only) while on the leash. He has stayed at daycare and his sitter has found that he prefers young female dogs who are also high energy. I would not suggest pairing him with another dominant dog. If you feel confident that Django would have the right home with you, please feel free to reach out and we can schedule a meet and greet and discuss further details. Blair PowellFuquay Varina, NC blaire575@yahoo.com Contact the owner listed above for more information about [DogName]. Please visit our website www.gsdrescue.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs.

If you have any questions or would like to adopt Django (CL), please reach out to the adoption group directly. PetSmart Charities does not facilitate the adoption process. Thank you.
