My story

 Pinto Pinto! He's the best bean! He's 4 months old and ready to learn and grow with you.His energy level is a solid 6–7 out of 10—he naps like a champ, but when he’s up, he is UP. Zoomies, dirt-digging, and full-on puppy party mode.Pinto is a little anxious and still figuring out the world. The vacuum is his mortal enemy, and sudden noises can spook him. He’s not aggressive—just a sensitive soul trying his best. But his favorite thing? Alfie, his current doggy foster sibling. They’re inseparable, and Pinto takes a lot of confidence cues from him.He’s not a match for cats, and we’re unsure about kids. With other dogs, he's following their lead. For this reason, we believe Pinto needs a home with another friendly, confident dog to help guide him (and to play with, of course!).A fenced yard is a must—he LOVES to dig and explore, and outdoor time helps him burn off energy and feel more secure.If you’re ready to love a slightly awkward, deeply sweet pup who just needs a little time, patience, and dirt to dig in, Pinto might just be your guy. He is neutered, Microchipped, and up-to-date on vaccines. His adoption fee is $350!  All Mountain Pet Rescue (Asheville) animals are up-to-date on vaccinations, spayed/neutered and micro-chipped before adoption. Please note that visual breed identification of companion animals has been proven to be unreliable, so for most of our animals we provide a best guess at predominant breed or breed mix.
