My story

All of our dogs are spayed/neutered, shots current (DHPP, Bordetella and Rabies where applicable), dewormed, flea and tick treated, and microchipped.  * If you are interested in a dog, please first read the biography on the dog (keep scrolling down for the bio!) and then go to our website, www.dpsrescue.com for an application. Sweet, snuggly, and absolutely irresistible—just like your favorite treats from Nonnie’s kitchen! Tiramisu, Gelato, Cannoli, and Biscotti are ten-week-old Chihuahua puppies who came to us after an unexpected litter. Now they’re looking for loving forever homes where they can share their unique personalities and sugary-sweet love. These tiny pups are full of charm, working hard on potty training, and are especially fond of chew toys (as they’re starting to teeth!). They thrive on play, cuddles, and even enjoy unwinding to Italian cooking shows in the evening.   Ready to add a little dolce to your life? Read on to find your perfect match!   TIRAMISU (female) This gentle girl is a true layered dessert—shy at first, but incredibly sweet once she gets to know you. Tiramisu is the kind of puppy who’ll blossom in a home where she can build confidence and get all the snuggles she craves. She may be quiet, but her loyalty runs deep. If you’re looking for a best friend who’ll always be by your side (especially for naps), Tiramisu might just be your perfect pick-me-up.       GELATO (female) Cool, confident, and always ready for her next adventure! Gelato is a spirited, playful pup who approaches life with curiosity and enthusiasm. She loves exploring new toys, trying new things, and leading the pack in fun. Gelato would thrive in an active home that can keep up with her zest for life—and shower her with love and attention. Just like her name suggests, she’s a refreshing burst of joy on any day.   CANNOLI (male) This thoughtful little guy is calm, observant, and full of quiet sweetness. Cannoli enjoys watching the action before jumping in, and he’s happiest cuddled up in a cozy spot next to his people. He’s got a gentle soul and would do great in a home that values calm, comforting companionship. If you’re looking for a mellow pup with soulful eyes and a heart of gold, Cannoli is your classic comfort dessert.   BISCOTTI (male) Small but mighty! Biscotti is the most confident of the group—he’s playful, spunky, and loves to take charge of his siblings during playtime. Don’t let his bold personality fool you though—this little guy loves affection and will happily curl up in your lap after a long day of fun. He’s best suited for a home that appreciates a pup with personality and is ready for endless entertainment (and a few laughs). Like a good biscotti, he’s got just the right amount of crunch and sweetness.   These pups may be tiny, but their hearts are HUGE.
