My story

Eva is a silly, sassy, and very smart three month old puppy with soft fur and the most adorable puppy dog eyes you’ve ever seen. She is a little shy of new people and dogs, but warms up fast (especially with treats) and forms strong attachments to her people. She makes the cutest little whines and grunts when you get her out of her crate in the morning. She’s a pretty typical puppy energy-wise—she gets the zoomies and loves to play with the other dogs in her foster home, though she is still learning appropriate boundaries. Eva is very smart and learns extremely quickly. Even though she is still very young, she loves her training sessions and is both eager to please and food motivated. She has a laser focus when training that is unusual for her age. Hands-off or passive adopters would not be a good fit for Eva, but any adopter that can give Eva consistent expectations and even spend 5 minutes a day on training will find her to be a fast learner and very eager to please. She already knows how to “sit,” “stay,” and “shake,” walks well on a leash, and is doing well with potty training.
