My story

Meet Mr. Simon! This little hunk is a shelter star at the VBSPCA! Simon was brought to us through our clinic, he came to us with a bladder stone that he was having trouble passing. To remove the blockage, our clinic had to perform a perineal urethrostomy and Simon is feeling much better! To prevent more stones from forming, Simon has been placed on a prescription urinary diet that he must continue lifelong. Simon also came to us needing entropion surgery on both of his eyes. This means his inner eyelids did not form properly and were causing his eyes discomfort. He has had another surgery to repair this. As a result, Simon`s doing great but he does have additional medical costs due to his surgeries. Poor Simon had a long medical journey with us and he is finally feeling ready for the biggest adventure yet--finding his forever home! Simon is very outgoing, he loves to explore his space, and his favorite spot is the highest point in the room so he would love a tall cat tree in his future home! Simon is thought to do well with both dogs and cats given a slow introduction and would do okay with children as well. Simon is the perfect fit for most homes with enough love and space for his big personality! Ask VBSPCA staff to meet this special man today.
